Monroe 'Roe' Byrd of this city has received a message from Gordon, Nebraska advising him of the death of his brother-in-law, Dr. JQ ELMORE who died at his home in that city Tuesday. Dr. Elmore is a former resident of this County and practice in this vicinity for several years. He had been ill six months. He was born in Alamo. Dr. Elmore is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ellen Byrd Elmore,(Daughter of Peter Byrd) one son, Major FQ Elmore, stationed at Ft. Logan near Denver Colorado one sister, Mrs. Nellie Elmore Work of Des Moines Iowa a former teacher at Crawfordsville schools. - kbz
